Power Ranch Fall Festival

We took cousin Brigham and went to the Power Ranch Fall Festival late last month.  They had a small hay maze that Chad and Brig loved, some cool scarecrows, a petting zoo and lots of food trucks there!

Shadow a Kindergartner day

Mom got to come with Chad to school for an hour or so and see how his day goes each morning!  He lines up in his teacher's line and they recite the Pledge of Allegiance and the Centennial motto.

 

 

Once in class they start on their "Jobs" until called up to do homework review with Ms. Sheehan.  It is so surprising to see how independent he is and how trained he is to class and responsibilities!

It was so fun watching him participate in class and be a big kindergartner! Now we need to focus on not talking to others and getting his work done! We sure love this boy! 

Some school stuff!

Chad has been doing great with Kindergarten and going each day without any complaints.  I do get an occasional "its sooo long!' but he really enjoys all this new buddies and specials time.

First Day of Kindergarten!

Our big boy started Kindergarten on August 4th!  He was so excited to get to go to the "big kid" school and play on the playground.  Mom and Dad were worried about him being sad when we dropped him off but he held it together and was a strong kiddo with no crying!  Can't say the same for Mom though!  He comes home each day excited about the day full of things to tell us.  I can believe he is getting so big!

Tonight we went to meet the teacher and got to see Chads Kindergarten school and classroom for the first time and meet Ms. Sheehan his teacher!

Build A Bear

Chad got his first build a bear with daddy, mommy and grandma Bennett! A Raphael ninja turtle! He takes it wherever he goes and changes its clothes and puts him to sleep in his "house." He also took it to grandma Bennett's house to his first sleepover without mom and dad with cousins Cade and Isaac!

Happy 4th of July

We spent our 4th of July with our cousins Cade and Isaac swimming and BBQing at Grandma and Papa Bennett's house and doing fireworks!
