February Family Fun Day!

We took a trip to the Arizona Museum of Natural History to show dad all the Dinosaur fossils we had seen previously when we went with our cousins Cade and Isaac. After the museum we went to Polar Ice and went ice skating for the first time! Chad enjoyed ice skating but REALLY wanted to play the arcades! It was fun filled day!

First trip to the dentist!

Chad had his first trip to the dentist on January 30th and to say he was excited is an understatement! He would ask each day how many days until the dentist and could barely make it through preschool the day of!  We went to Dr. Quackenbush at Timber Falls Pediatric Dentistry.  Such a awesome, friendly team!  Chad climbed right up on the chair and followed all directions from the hygienist while giving Alan and I an occasional thumbs up!  He loved wearing the glasses to protect his eyes from the light and picking a treat at the end.  We can't wait until next visit!

Alan let Chad try some Yellowtail sushi at dinner! After lots of dipping in soy sauce, Chad actually ate it! Like father like son!

Monster Jam 2013

On January 26th we took our annual trip to Monster Jam! Chad had a great time (not sure if he enjoyed the trucks or the treats more) watching his favorite monster truck Gravedigger and matching his shirt to Dad's!

 

January Family Fun Day

We had a family fun day where we took a trip out to Fountain Hills to play at the park and watch the fountain go off.  It was SUCH a beautiful day!  After Fountain Hills we took Chad bowling for the first time and he LOVED it!

 

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam!

This boy is officially a SUNBEAM and in Primary! I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by. My little guy is getting big! Chad was excited going to Sunbeams for his first Sunday two weeks ago. He has been going to sit with the Nursery in Primary during song time and loved it. When the time came for him to sit with his class for the first time he was hesitant but did (since Daddy is in there teaching CTR 5) but when class time came he wasn't so happy! Last week was a little better so hopefully we will improve from here!
