Williams, AZ

We took a three day, two night stay-cation to Williams, AZ for the Polar Express in early December.  While we were there we went to the Grand Canyon, BearArizona and sledding too!  Chad had fun playing in the snow and participating in all our adventures!

Chad was sworn in as a "Junior Park Ranger" and has a badge to prove it!

He was BEYOND excited!

We didn't know what to expect going to BearArizona but we had such an awesome time!  It was such a fun experience driving right through the animals habitat and seeing bison, wolves, bears, etc.  They would walk right up the car.  After the drive through part we walked around and saw the other animals and Chad LOVED the baby cubs.  We recommend going!

 

 

 

On our last day we took Chad sledding which is what he talked about doing the whole time in Williams!  Daddy and Chad made a snowman and did TONS of sledding!

Gilbert Lights and Singing

Chad's Pre-K class sang at the Gilbert Light Festival before Christmas.  It was so fun watching him up on stage and seeing him sing Jingle Bells, etc.  We even stayed after and watched a hot air balloon fill up and fire start! Then Santa and his elves came out of the sky and parachuted down to us!  Thanks Grandma Bennett and Grandma Fletcher for coming! 

 

 

Thanksgiving 2013

Chad had a Thanksgiving feast at his Pre-K the Wednesday before Thanksgiving that Alan and I and Papa and Grandma went to.  It was fun seeing him interact with all his classmates.

 We had Thanksgiving dinner at James and Megan's house this year with lots of family and yummy food!

Shaving like Dad

Chad got a new shaving kit like his dad and has spent numerous minutes in the tub trying to be a big boy!  He even holds the water cup (lid to shaving cream can) to wash off his razor like his dad!

We sure do love this boy!

T-Ball 2013

 Chad played T-Ball this past fall and LOVED it.  He walked right on the field the first day for practice without being worried to leave mom and dad.  He made some fun friends and played on the Angels team.  It took a little while for him to get the hang of hitting the ball and running to first base and where to go after, but by the end of the season he was a pro! Dad and Mom sure had fun watching him and so did his grandparents and cousins and Aunt Leah who came to see him!

 

We also had some fun on the field! (three innings is a long time!)

He is SO proud of his medal!
