Christmas

We got to spend this Christmas with my parents and of course all of the family! On Christmas Eve Alan and I and Mom and Dad spent the night at Sarah's so we could be there in the morning when Santa came! We had a great holiday this year full of family and fun not to mention sleep! We can't believe the Holiday season has already come to a close!

Free till Jan 21st!

Today offically marked my last day of Block One Nursing School ! I have completed one Block with three more left! I'm free (minus work) till Jan 21st when I have to report back to Block 2. This semester actually flew by pretty quickly, you are so busy with so much to do that you really dont have time to breath and then the next time you look up you are in finals. I came home today from Finals and crashed on my couch for a couple hours! It was so nice not to have anything to do! So, on this vacation break I plan on relaxing, enjoying the holidays and using my brain as little as possible! :)

First Baby Appointment

Today Alan and I got to go to our 1st Doctors Appt to see how everything is coming along on Baby. We were so excited to actually get to SEE the baby and watch the heartbeat moving along super fast! When the Doc started the ultrasound and said to Alan "Come take a look, Daddy!" I have never seen Alan move so fast! :) Everything looks great and healthly! Just a million more days to go! :)

10 weeks 6 days Due: June 27th

Nursing School

I officially after today have three weeks left of school until the end of Block One. (Three more Blocks to go!) I finished my last Clinical today at Long Term Care in Chandler so these next three weeks are Alternate Clinical (which means at the school) and one week of finals. These next three weeks also consit of two days off for Thanksgiving and no more Pharm class after Tuesday! (So can't we really just say two weeks left?!) In all honestly, this semster flew by and somehow I managed to get through it! I 'm just not sure what I'm going to do with a month off! Hopefully, use my brain as little as possible! :) Let the countdown BEGIN....

PREGNANT!

Well, if you haven't already noticed the Baby to the right then SURPRISE! We are expecting our first baby! :)

The back story:

After the wedding in Cali last weekend I flew in early Monday morning to make it to school and when I arrived home that day I was sooo tired, no, make that exhausted! So I took a nap on the couch and when I woke up I had a little feeling to take a test (must have had a dream or something) :) so I did and guess what?! So I text Alan at school who called me back and said "Alice, if you are going to tell me what I think you're going to tell me, I need to come home!" so he did just that! :)

We are SUPER excited being that it has been a little struggle to achieve this new addition and even though it's a little early in the process it's hard not to tell cause the joy is written all over our faces! (Not to mention a couple people in the family, including Alan and I, have already spilled the beans!) Our first Doc appt is Dec. 5 so we'll def keep everyone updated! :)
