Sea World and Campland on the Bay

Leah, Cade, Isaac, Alan, Chad, Brianna and I all took off last Tuesday and drove to San Diego a few days earlier than our planned trip to San Diego for camping with the family. We stayed two nights in a hotel and went to Sea World and had an amazing time!

On Thursday we meet up with Grandpa and Grandma, the Porters and the Bennetts for 5 days of camping at Campland on the bay in Mission Bay San Diego. This was our first time going to Campland and we had a GREAT time. The weather was PERFECT. I think for the majority of the time it was high 70's occasionally low 80's and beautiful! We slept in tents and it was cool at night and not freezing...we will definitely be back again! The camp ground has a market, laundry room, restaurant, ice cream place, game room, basketball, volleyball, skate park, etc. There is a beach in the bay we spent most our time at. We paddle boarded, kayaked, water pedal biked and papa rented a sailboat to take out!  We had tons of ice cream and went in the pool and the cousins rode their scooters all over the campsite and played at the park behind the Porters campground.

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma! We had such a fun time and cant wait to do it again!

Chad's 4th Birthday!

Our big boy turned 4 on the 27th of this month.  We celebrated on the 24th with a monster truck party and all our cousins! This year was exciting because I felt like this was the first year we were home (last year for his 3rd bday we were in Havasu) and having an actual birthday party he got to pick! He wanted green and monster trucks so that's exactly what we did! We rented the barn house here in our subdivision and had a monster truck party and swimming after! He was excited about it all month!

 For Alan's 30th birthday Chad and I decorated the house with balloons and signs so anytime we talked about Chad's birthday with him he would say he wanted balloons in the house like Dad's!
