Halloween 2013

Alan and I were able to participate in Chad's Pre-K Halloween party on Thursday.  The kids were able to wear their costumes and put on a parade for everyone and went trick or treating in the school hallways.  After the parade we went back to the classroom for some treats and then carved pumpkins!  We had a lot of fun watching Chad interact with his classmates.

Camping in Cave Springs

We took an overnight trip with Papa and Grandma up to Oak Creek Canyon and stayed at Cave Springs campground.  It was cold but beautiful and we had such a fun time. Chad loved roasting smores in the fire and looking for bugs/rocks/leaves on our hike with Grandma.  We can't wait to go again when it starts to warm up!

We had some visitors during the night!
 Beautiful!

Thanks for taking us Papa and Grandma!

Sedona and my 30th

I turned 30 (Yikes!) this October! My wonderful husband surprised me with an overnight stay in Sedona kiddo free.  We had a fun time walking the shops and getting dinner alone and quietly. :) On Monday which was my actual birthday, Alan had school Clinicals so Chad and I spent the day with my parents.  We went to lunch at Fuddruckers and then came home to cake.  When we got home Daddy had flowers, a balloon and cake ready for celebration.  It was a great way to start off my 30's!

Vertuccio Farms

Cousin Logan came all the way from California to stay with Papa and Grandma for part of his fall break and Chad and I were lucky enough to hang out with him! Grandma took us to Vertuccio Farms in Gilbert which we had never been to.  We had a great time and will definitely be going back next fall!
